Sounds interesting. The way I use to access the emulator is exactly how you
did it, using sshd. When using the development board, I also use sshfs to
effectively mount the home directory under a directory on my workstation.

Someone mentioned it in one of the community Matrix rooms a while ago - was
that you? I don't know of anyone on the team who is actively using it.

I think it's fine to use ssh/scp/sshfs. I've heard things about Teleport but
have never used it:
